killing yourself to live...

After just finally reading Downtown Owl, I'm really excited for Klosterman's new book due out later this year. I really enjoy his books and envy his musical/pop culture knowledge. He gets paid to write essays about random pop culture. He has the greatest job. Paste talks about his new book, Eating The Dinosaur.

Chuck Klosterman to Release Eating the Dinosaur in Oct.

Chuck Klosterman, the pop-culture-expert-slash-critic-slash-KISS-fanboy who brought us the likes of Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs, is at it again. The author plans to release his sixth book, Eating the Dinosaur, on Oct. 20.
Like his past works, it seems Eating the Dinosaur will be a somewhat scattered, cynical look inside the author's mind. "I talk about the relationship between [Nirvana's album] In Utero and David Koresh. I talk about time travel, ABBA, Ralph Sampson, Garth Brooks, things the Unabomber was right about, the process of interviewing people and why it's fun to spy on people," Klosterman revealed to the Boston Globe.

If his past musings are any indication of what's in store, we're sure we can expect plenty of cultural relevance from this Dinosaur.
